The early morning Morning Yoga Nidra Meditation & Creative Journaling with Nikki is an offering to all levels who would like to deepen their daily Meditation, Breath Work, Yoga Nidra & Journaling practice. It is a great opportunity to put these powerful daily ritual practices into direct experience in a safe, sacred and loving community. 

Join Nikki as she shares her everyday rituals to help you 'reset' and connect to your magic to live a life with more meaning, purpose and overall well-being. This early morning program is an opportunity to tune in with what lights you up inside, explore what you value and better understand who you are and how to reconnect with yourself, your MAGIC and the world around you.

Yoga Nidra Meditation

Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation also known as “yogic sleep” or “effortless relaxation”. It is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage, typically induced by a guided meditation. This beautiful practice combines deep relaxation, affirmation, breathing, mindfulness, visualization and self-inquiry to body, mind, and spirit and finding a deeper connection to true health, healing, and peace of mind.

NOTHING TO DO, NOWHERE TO GO.

"The daily practice of meditation and guided yoga nidra has fundamentally changed my life and supports my overall well-being, health and spiritual practice.


We all understand that 'sleep' is essential to every process in the body - it truly touches every aspect of our health.  Good sleep improves your brain performance, mood, overall health and ability to fight disease and develop immunity.


'Rest' is so much more than nightly hours of how much you 'sleep'.  Rest involves your whole being - mind, body, spirit and more than just the physical body of falling back into sleep.


Rest wasn't always a core value of mine - I didn't understand that I even needed rest because I have so much 'go, go, go' and honestly a higher tolerance for stamina. What I understand now is that both are equally as important - actually both are superpowers.


I think the limiting belief was that if I allowed myself time to 'rest' or take a 10-20min break I wouldn't get back up - now I understand that this is NOT TRUE and when I rest and take mini breaks to check-in it allows me to check into my internal compass to know where I need to be next and how I show up in the world with myself and others.


One of the biggest gamechangers for me was meditation & the practice of guided meditation, specifically Yoga Nidra.  This practice has not just changed my life - I believe it has saved my life.


Studies show that 20mins of sleep during a guided meditation practice is equivalent to a REM cycle of sleep!  Why is that important?  Well...  most adults need about 2hrs of REM sleep a night - this helps fine-tune our emotional circuits and boost creativity.  This REM stage has a major impact on memory, mental focus and mood.
